Chief minister to unveil 3 statues in Prayagraj
PRAYAGRAJ, July 5 -- Preparations gathered pace in Prayagraj and neighbouring Pratapgarh on Saturday after the administration finalised chief minister Yogi Adityanath's visit to the two districts on July 6 and 7, respectively.
The CM will spend nearly three hours in Prayagraj on Monday. He is scheduled to arrive at the Parade Ground helipad at around 2:45 pm before proceeding to Prerna Park at Kali Ghat near the Boat Club on Yamuna Bank Road, where he will unveil statues of Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former VHP international president Ashok Singhal.
He will also address a public meeting. In Pratapgarh, administrative and police officials also stepped up preparations for the CM's July 7 visit. IG Prayagraj Ajay Kumar Mishra and superintendent of police Deepak Bhukar inspected the Government Inter College ground and directed officials to ensure foolproof security....
