Lucknow, Sept. 23 -- Chief of Defence Staff General NS Raja Subramani visited the headquarters of Central Command in Lucknow on Tuesday and reviewed its operational preparedness and logistics capabilities. During his visit, the CDS held discussions with Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command, and other senior officers on operational readiness, capability development and the evolving security environment. General Subramani also visited the under-construction Central Command Hospital and was briefed on the progress of the project and the healthcare infrastructure planned at the facility. Later, the CDS called on chief minister Yogi Adityanath. The two discussed matters concerning coordination between the armed forces and the state government, according to an official release.
