Lucknow, March 24 -- A CBI court in Ghaziabad on Monday sentenced a former chief yard master at the Agra Cantt railway station to four years' imprisonment in a bribery case and imposed a Rs 10,000 fine on him. On July 4, 2015, the CBI registered a case against Rafi Ahmad, the then chief yard master, for demanding a Rs 30,000 bribe from a contractor-who became the complainant-to reduce a penalty for unsatisfactory work. The CBI caught the accused accepting Rs 5,000 as the first instalment of the bribe from the complainant.
