BSV to launch magazine on Awadh's cultural heritage
Lucknow, May 17 -- Bhatkhande Sanskriti University (BSV) is set to launch a biannual magazine titled Saket to promote research on Awadh's cultural heritage and the philosophy of Ram Darshan. Vice chancellor Mandavi Singh said the magazine will be published jointly under a memorandum of understanding with the Ramayana Mela Committee.
She said the main aim of Saket is to encourage research on the folk culture and traditions of Awadh while reconnecting students with their cultural roots. According to Singh, the younger generation today has limited engagement with historical traditions and heritage. She said the magazine would act as a bridge by involving students in cultural projects and heritage-based studies.
To strengthen the magazine's cultural and spiritual vision, a patron board has been formed. It includes Swami Ramdineshacharya Maharaj and Swami Raghavacharya Maharaj. Other members of the board include Nirmal Khatri, Vice Chancellor Mandavi Singh and Registrar Srishti Dhawan....
