LUCKNOW, July 5 -- The Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences (BSIP) will organise PRITHVI 2026 - The Palaeoscience Film Festival of India from July 23 to 25. The institute said it will be India's first film festival dedicated to palaeosciences and Earth sciences. Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel announced the festival by unveiling its brochure on Friday. BSIP director prof Mahesh G Thakkar, senior scientist Binita Phartiyal and festival convenor and scientist Nimish Kapoor were present. The three-day event will be held at the BSIP auditorium in Lucknow.
