LUCKNOW, May 11 -- Roads in close to bordering states in over half a dozen districts, including Banda, Lalitpur, Deoria, Bijnor, Mahoba and Etawah, will be widened and strengthened. A total of Rs 77.25 crore has been sanctioned for 12 road stretches. The sanctioned works include widening and strengthening of the Phuph-Chakeri to Madhupura road in Etawah, widening and strengthening of the Banda-Naraini-Lanjhi road in Banda, and widening and strengthening work on the Fatehpur-Baberu-Atarra-Naraini-Kartal road in Banda district.
