VARANASI, Sept. 23 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organise various service programmes across the Kashi region on September 25 to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the proponent of 'Integral Humanism' and former president of the Jan Sangh. As part of this initiative, BJP workers will participate in service activities across all 31,168 booths, 337 'Mandals' (organisational units), and 16 organisational districts of the Kashi region, said Ashok Chaurasia, BJP Kashi region president. Kashi region president said the events will commence with a cleanliness drive. Subsequently, party workers will offer floral tributes to the portrait of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya at the booths and hold discussions regarding his life and contributions.
