LUCKNOW, Aug. 30 -- BJP's Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh on Saturday announced initial assistance of Rs 11 lakh for families of Indian victims and a help desk for all as he called for a long-term India-Nepal Himalayan disaster resilience partnership. "To every family waiting for a phone call of their loved one, your worry is not yours alone. In an hour of disaster, no one is foreign; there are only those in crisis and those who can help," Singh said. He appreciated the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, medical teams, helicopter crew, volunteers and quick humanitarian response of Government of India. The initial assistance will be made available from environment warriors for families of Indian citizens who lost their lives or are missing. it will be delivered to verified next of kin....
