BJP holds zonal meetings, mandal training across UP
Lucknow, April 3 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has initiated a series of zonal meetings and mandal-level training sessions across Uttar Pradesh, focusing on strengthening its organisational network.
The exercise is being led by Dharampal Singh, state general secretary (organisation), who has already held meetings in all six organisational zones with district presidents, district in-charges, mandal heads (training) and other office-bearers.
At these meetings, Singh stressed the need to build a robust organisational structure at booth, power centre, mandal and district levels.
The party is also emphasising coordination between leaders and cadre, along with efforts to counter opposition "misinformation". As part of this, MPs, MLAs and office-bearers are taking part in mandal training sessions that include overnight stays with workers.
District-level office-bearers have been directed to stay with cadre during these sessions. On average, each assembly segment has four to five mandals, while Lucknow city has been divided into 25 mandals for organisational purposes. In one such programme, BJP leader Neeraj Singh stayed overnight with workers at a training camp on Sitapur Road. The two-day session concluded on Thursday....
