PRAYAGRAJ, May 23 -- A 52-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident on Friday morning in the Mansoorabad market area under Nawabganj police station limits in Prayagraj. The incident occurred when a Scorpio rammed into his motorcycle, sparking panic and chaos at the scene. The deceased has been identified as Samar Bahadur Yadav, a resident of Bhagwatipur Ahirana. According to reports, he was heading towards Mansoorabad on his motorcycle when the accident took place. At around 10 am, a Scorpio coming at high speed from the city side allegedly collided head-on with Yadav's motorcycle in front of the Mansoorabad Bank. The impact was severe, leaving him with critical injuries. Local residents rushed to assist and made arrangements to shift him to a nearby hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries on the spot before medical help could be provided. The police have seized the Scorpio involved in the crash and detained the driver.
