LUCKNOW, Sept. 14 -- An 11-member delegation led by Bihar legislative assembly deputy speaker Narendra Narayan Yadav on Sunday conducted a study tour of the Tagore Library at Lucknow University. The aim of the visit was to understand the development process, management, functioning, services and modernisation arrangements of the library. During the tour, the delegation was briefed on the rich history and heritage of the library that was inaugurated in 1941. The study tour began with a visit to the Online Public Access Catalog. The delegation was informed that this facility allows online searching of the library's collection by title, author and subject. The delegation also visited the Visheshwar Nath Reading Hall. The delegation also visited the rare artifacts and manuscripts section. The panel's next stop was at the Radhakamal Mukerjee Art Gallery and Museum.
