LUCKNOW, April 15 -- Uttar Pradesh Congress leaders and workers paid homage to Dr BR Ambedkar (1891-1956) on his 135th birth anniversary here on Tuesday. On the occasion, state Congress president Ajay Rai and others paid floral tribute at Ambedkar's statue in Hazratganj. A seminar on the life and works of Ambedkar was also organised at the state Congress office to mark the day. "The path of equality, justice, and rights shown to Indian society by Babasaheb Ambedkar remains relevant to this day. His life stands as a symbol of struggle and dedication from which every citizen should draw inspiration," Rai said.
