Ayodhya to get Lav-Kush Park based on 'Waste to Art' theme
LUCKNOW, May 25 -- A Lav-Kush Park based on the 'Waste to Art' theme will be developed in Ayodhya at a cost of Rs.17.72 crore under the State Smart City Mission. The park will come up near the Maushivala MRF Centre on the Raebareli Highway.
Officials said the park aims to promote tourism, cultural heritage and environmental awareness. After the Ram Mandir, Hanuman Garhi and Kanak Bhawan, the Lav-Kush Park is expected to become another major attraction for pilgrims and tourists. The park will feature walkways, gardens, seating areas, lighting and modern security arrangements. Stories from the Ramayana will be presented through scrap metal sculptures, murals and interactive installations.
Jayendra Kumar, municipal commissioner said the park will focus on stories related to Lord Ram's sons, Lav and Kush. Popular episodes from the Ramayana will be showcased through modern art to connect younger generations with Indian mythology.htc...
