AMU Literary Festival opens, celebrates ideas, student voices
AGRA, April 7 -- The three-day Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Literary Festival 2026 began with an inaugural ceremony at the Kennedy Auditorium of the Cultural Education Centre on Sunday evening.
Pro vice-chancellor Mohd Mohsin Khan was the chief guest, while Dean Students' Welfare Mohd Athar Ansari attended as guest of honour.
Speakers highlighted the importance of literary platforms in promoting dialogue, critical thinking and creativity among students.
They encouraged active participation and open exchange of ideas. A key highlight was the release of the festival newsletter "Pre-LitLetter", edited by Aliya Akbar, Rahat Ul Aien and Zainab Faiza Islam....
