Lucknow, April 29 -- The Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University commenced various programmes on Tuesday to mark the foundation day of Gujarat State. A cleanliness drive was organised by the university at the Paharpur Upper Primary School in BKT, which has been adopted by the university. AKTU vice-chancellor, prof JP Pandey, and a university team visited the school and cleaned the premises, depositing waste into dustbins. During this activity, an appeal was made to school teachers to continue raising awareness among children regarding cleanliness in their surroundings. Continuing with these initiatives, the university team visited the Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya in Kumhrawan. Led by Saroj Pandey, wife of JP Pandey, the team provided information to female students regarding HPV vaccination.
