The Kannauj MP alleged that those responsible for tarnishing the sanctity of the temple had gone underground, creating an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty. He claimed many local residents were hesitant to visit the temple due to concerns about being drawn into the investigation. Demanding greater transparency, Akhilesh sought daily briefings on the probe and expressed no confidence in the Special Investigation Team (SIT), alleging widespread corruption under the BJP government. He also termed reports of irregularities in Mathura as serious and demanded a credible, high-level inquiry. "The BJP's politics began in Ayodhya and will end there because of its own misdeeds," he said....
