GORAKHPUR, Sept. 16 -- : A controversy has erupted over the alleged objectionable remarks made by All India Students' Association national president Neha Bora against chief minister Yogi Adityanath during a Gen Z gathering at a guest house here, with young lawyers and Hindu organisations demanding legal action against her. The groups have warned that they would take to the streets if an FIR is not registered against Bora. According to the complainants, Bora, while addressing the gathering, criticised the government over employment, law and order and bulldozer action and allegedly used derogatory terms against the chief minister. Written complaints have been submitted at Pipraich and Cantt police stations by representatives of the BJPYM and Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh, alleging that Bora's remarks were objectionable and hurt religious and social sentiments. Some young advocates demanded registration of an FIR and strict legal action, arguing that Yogi Adityanath is not only the chief minister but also the mahant of the Gorakhnath Peeth.
