GORAKHPUR, March 25 -- A 25-year-old woman working as a security officer with an airline allegedly died by suicide at her rented accommodation under the jurisdiction of the AIIMS police station here, officials said on Tuesday. According to police, the woman posted a message in a WhatsApp group shortly before the incident, stating, "I don't want to live anymore." The matter came to light when her landlord, who was also a member of the group, saw the message in the morning. Sensing something amiss, he rushed to her room, found the door bolted from inside, and alerted the police. Officials said police personnel reached the spot, entered the room and found the woman lying unresponsive on the bed. She was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.CP Pandey, station house officer (SHO) of AIIMS police station, said, "The body has been sent for the post-mortem examination. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide. However, all angles are being thoroughly investigated."
