PRAYAGRAJ, Aug. 23 -- Artificial Intelligence (AI) will redefine the way businesses think, operate and grow, Professor Sonjaya S Gaur of New York University, USA, said while addressing students and researchers at United University in Prayagraj on Saturday. Gaur, professor of marketing at New York University, was the guest of honour at the two-day international conference, "Reimagining Business for a digital, innovative and sustainable future - ICRB 2026". The conference was organised by the university's faculty of commerce and management in association with AIMS and the Prayagraj chapter of NHRDN. The conference, which concluded on Saturday, featured 170 research papers presented by participants from India, the US, Iran, Morocco, Portugal and other countries. It provided a platform for academic exchange, research, innovation and interaction between academia and industry. Gaur spoke about the growing influence of AI on marketing and business. He urged students and researchers to understand and adapt to the rapidly changing global business environment. Prof Manmohan Krishna, former chair professor at NITI Aayog, delivered the keynote address. He shared insights into AI, business and management and their implications for the Indian and global economy. The conference was attended by United University Pro-Chancellor Jagdish Gulati, Vice-chairman Satpal Gulati, senior vice-president Gaurav Gulati, vice-chancellor prof AM Agrawal and Dean, Planning and Development, Chetan Vyas. HoDs, academicians, researchers, industry professionals, faculty members and students also attended the event. Addressing students, Jagdish Gulati stressed the importance of continuous effort and collective commitment in taking an organisation towards success. Anand Kumar Gupta, HoD, commerce and management and conference convener, highlighted the growing importance of AI, digital transformation, innovation and sustainability.
