LUCKNOW, Sept. 28 -- Artificial intelligence (AI), robotic surgery, advanced pregnancy monitoring and personalised treatment are expanding fertility care beyond conventional IVF, experts said at HOPE CME 2026 in Lucknow. The conference was organised under the leadership of Dr Geeta Khanna, director, Ajanta Hospital and IVF Centre. Specialists discussed emerging technologies in reproductive medicine and women's health, according to a press release shared with the media on Sunday. Experts said AI could help analyse medical data, assess treatment response, monitor embryos and pregnancies, and manage PCOS. However, they stressed that technology cannot replace clinical judgement. Robotic surgery and comprehensive evaluation for IVF failure and recurrent pregnancy loss were also discussed. Prof Sonia Nityanand, vice-chancellor, KGMU, MLA Dr Neeraj Bora, former director Prof Deepak Malviya and Lucknow CMO Dr N.B. Singh attended the event.
