Lucknow, Sept. 27 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union health minister JP Nadda separately in New Delhi on Saturday. In a post on social media, he said the PM's guidance always gave him new energy for creation of New Uttar Pradesh. "Today, I had the privilege of a courtesy meeting with the world's most popular politician, the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, in New Delhi. Your guidance always gives me renewed energy for the creation of 'New Uttar Pradesh.' Heartfelt thanks, Prime Minister ji, for providing your invaluable time," he wrote on X, roughly translated from Hindi, after the meeting. In another post on X after meeting Nadda, he said "Today, a courtesy meeting was held with the Hon'ble Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji in New Delhi." The meetings come a day after Yogi Adityanath and Union home minister Amit Shah attended the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Tradeshow at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. Shah highlighted the state's achievements on the occasion. The leaders are believed to have held discussions around the upcoming development projects scheduled for launch ahead of 2027 UP assembly elections. Various political issues including the strategies for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, scheduled for October 16, and preparations for the 2027 UP polls.
