Agra, Aug. 26 -- The body of an Agra man was found from an under-construction building in Firozabad village on August 23 and a case was registered at Ramgarh police station of Firozabad. The Firozabad police arrested the accused after an encounter in the wee hours of Tuesday. The details of the case are as follows: the unidentified body of a man was recovered from an under-construction building in Nagla Gularia village within the limits of the Ramgarh police station of Firozabad on August 23. The body was later identified as that of Kamal, a resident of Nagla Kesri within the limits of Etmadpur police station of Agra district. A case was registered at Ramgarh police station of Firozabad on a complaint by the father of the deceased, who named the accused as a suspect. The police in Firozabad scanned CCTV footage and on the basis of footage, launched a search for the accused and arrested him after an encounter. The accused was identified as Aakash and police recovered illegal arms, mobile and clothes of the deceased. ASP Firozabad Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the deceased had taken a lift on August 22 night from the accused who drove a battery rickshaw but he took the deceased to a deserted area. On interrogation, the accused confessed before police that he had attempted sexual assault on Kamal who resisted. The angry accused battered Kamal with bricks and escaped, police said....
