After Faizabad Bar Assn says no, UP govt provides legal aid to accused
Ayodhya, July 14 -- As the Faizabad Bar Association decided not to plead the case of the Ram temple donation theft accused, the state government has provided legal aid to them, appointing Kulshekhar Singh as the defence counsel last week.
Singh, a former joint director of the department of prosecution, may take up the work next week.
At its June 29 meeting, the Faizabad Bar Association also decided that if any of its members try to plead the case of the Ram temple accused, they will be fined Rs 5 lakh and lose their membership in the association.
Kulshekhar Singh said he is not a member of the Faizabad Bar Association, so he can plead the case of the accused freely....
