Haldwani, July 3 -- Udham Singh Nagar district administration on Thursday ordered both parties to maintain status quo in a dispute over the ownership and possession of Kulsum Khan Farm in Kichha, claimed by Saira Vadra, sister-in-law of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. The administration directed both sides to seek legal remedy through the court. The dispute triggered protests on Wednesday night, with Congress MLA Tilak Raj Behar and party workers staging a sit-in outside the farmhouse, alleging that the property had been forcibly occupied despite a court stay order.
