VARANASI, Sept. 13 -- The All India Students' Association (AISA) president Neha Bora has called for students' problems to be addressed through dialogue and on priority basis. Bora was speaking at the 'Gen-Z Chaupal' held at the Onkarnath Thakur Auditorium in Banaras Hindu University (BHU), on Saturday. She reached Varanasi as part of AISA's 'Gen-Z Mahajutan Yatra' which aims to highlight the problems and demands of students in Uttar Pradesh. She raised critical issues at BHU, including gender justice, OBC reservation in hostels, and ideological freedom. Bora stated that the education system requires reform and that it must be ensured that all students receive equal opportunities. She declared that they would not remain silent until students secured proper education and employment, hinting at launching a campaign demanding major reforms in the current education system. She emphasised the issue of gender justice, stating that concrete steps must be taken to protect women's rights. She also demanded a clear response from the government regarding the demand for OBC reservation in hostels.
