97.20% pass Rajasthan board Class 12 exams
Jaipur, April 1 -- The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) declared Class 12 board exam results on Tuesday, with 97.20% of total candidates passing and girls outperforming boys once again, with five students jointly topping the exam with a score of 99.80%.
Of the total passed students, 97.77% are girls and 96.46% are boys. Last year, at least 97.76% of the candidates passed, of which 98.68% were girls and 96.73% were boys.
This year, at least 899,080 candidates appeared for the exam-of whom 285,299 were from science stream, 30,580 from commerce stream, and 583,201 from arts stream. Of the total candidates, 651,422 also passed with first class.
The pass percentage of the science stream was 97.52%-of whom the qualifying rate for girls was 98.34% and 97.02% for boys. Last year, 98.43% students passed in this stream. The corresponding figure for the arts candidates was 97.54%-of whom the qualifying rate for girls was 98.29% and 96.68% for boys. Last year, 97.78% students passed in the arts stream.
At least 93.64% students also passed in the commerce stream, in which 92.82% were girls and 94.04% were boys. Last year, 99.07% students passed in this stream....
