61 teachers selected for State Teacher Award-'25
LUCKNOW, Sept. 1 -- The basic education department has approved the names of 61 teachers for the State Teacher Award-2025. Based on recommendations of the state-level selection committee, these selected teachers have been contributing to strengthening the quality of education, student learning outcomes, and school management across various districts of the state, spokesperson said.
The names of these 61 teachers were approved following a review of proposals received from various districts during meetings of the state-level selection committee. This initiative marks a significant step towards encouraging teachers who focus on improving classroom instruction, fostering innovation, and enhancing student learning.
The selected list comprises both headmasters and assistant teachers. Teachers serving in primary, upper primary, composite, pre-secondary, and PM SHRI schools have been chosen for the award. This initiative provides state-level recognition for the outstanding work being done across various levels of school education.
