LUCKNOW, June 30 -- Fifty-seven doctors from across Uttar Pradesh were honoured with the HT Digital Streams (HTDS) Medical Excellence Awards for their outstanding contributions to healthcare at an event in a city hotel here in Hazratganj on Saturday. Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak was the chief guest on the occasion while Prof CM Singh, director, Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), was the guest of honour. Singh was among the awardees. Other recipients include Dr Vishnu Anurag, orthopaedic and sports surgeon; Dr Jitendra Rao, professor of prosthodontics; Dr Ashish Jha, professor of cardiology; Dr Gautam Lokdarshi, oculoplasty & orbit clinic, ophthalmology; and Dr Amarjot Singh, general surgeon among others.
