LUCKNOW, Sept. 20 -- The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday ordered the transfer of 35 IPS officers, making changes in several police commissionerates, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Varanasi, Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddh Nagar. The reshuffle covers officers from the 2014 to 2022 direct-recruitment batches as well as recently promoted IPS officers. Several officers have been moved between commissionerate assignments and specialised units such as the Cyber Headquarters, CID, Intelligence Headquarters, Police Headquarters and UP-112. Among the prominent changes, Charu Nigam has been shifted from the post of SP, UP-112, Lucknow, to Commandant of the 47th Battalion PAC, Ghaziabad. Shravan Kumar Singh has been transferred from his role as DCP, Kanpur Nagar Commissionerate, to DCP, Gautam Buddh Nagar. Ravi Shankar Nim, DCP, Gautam Buddh Nagar, has been posted as commandant, 2nd Battalion, SSF, Gorakhpur. Sonam Kumar, DCP, Agra, goes to Prayagraj as DCP there. Ravindra Kumar, who was DCP, Kanpur Nagar, becomes DCP, Agra. Saad Miya Khan moves from the post of DCP, Gautam Buddh Nagar, to DCP, Agra, while Syed Ali Abbas, who was DCP, Agra, goes to Gautam Buddh Nagar as DCP there. Shruti Srivastava has been transferred from the post of additional DCP, Varanasi, to additional DCP, Prayagraj. Rajesh Gunawat, who was assistant SP, Firozabad, becomes additional DCP, Varanasi. In Lucknow, Jitendra Kumar Srivastava has been shifted from his assignment as SP/additional SP, CID/UP SIFS, to DCP, Lucknow Commissionerate. Mamta Rani Chaudhary, DCP, Lucknow, becomes SP, CID, Lucknow. Atul Sharma-II, DCP, Agra, becomes SP, Intelligence Headquarters, Lucknow. Pramod Kumar, DCP, Varanasi, has been posted as SP, Cyber Headquarters, Lucknow. Neeraj Kumar Pandey moves from the post of DCP, Prayagraj, to SP, Police Headquarters, Prayagraj. Mohd Irfan Ansari, who was SP, Police Headquarters, Prayagraj, becomes SP, CID, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The reshuffle also brought multiple changes to the DCP-level structure in Ghaziabad, Agra, Kanpur Nagar and Varanasi. Rijul moves from the post of additional SP, Training Directorate, Lucknow, to additional DCP, Ghaziabad Commissionerate. Balwant Kumar Chaudhary, who held the post of SP/additional SP, Ayodhya, becomes the DCP, Ghaziabad. Vinay Bhatnagar, moves from the post of SP/additional SP, Hapur, to DCP, Varanasi. Rajesh Kumar Pandey, DCP/additional DCP, Kanpur Nagar, becomes DCP, Varanasi. In Kanpur Nagar, Abhay Nath Tripathi moves from the post of SP/additional SP, City, Etawah, to DCP, Kanpur Nagar. Areeba Nouman, assistant SP, Jhansi, becomes additional DCP, Kanpur Nagar. Manoj Kumar Yadav, assistant SP, Saharanpur, has now been posted as additional DCP, Agra. Harendra Kumar, SP/additional SP, Western Ambedkar Nagar, goes to Agra as DCP. Gyanendra Nath Prasad moves the post of SP/additional SP, Gorakhpur, to DCP, Agra. The reshuffle also gives fresh field responsibilities to several relatively junior IPS officers. Vikram Dahiya, additional SP, Pilibhit, is now additional SP, Chandauli. Anant Chandrashekhar, additional SP, Chandauli, becomes SP, City, Jaunpur. Ayush Srivastava, moves from SP, City, Jaunpur, to SP, City, Unnao. Among the 2022 batch, Devesh Chaturvedi moves from assistant SP, Ayodhya, to additional SP (West), Ambedkar Nagar. Vivek Tiwari, assistant SP, Kheri, becomes additional SP (North), Barabanki. Sumit Sudhakar Ramteke, assistant commissioner of police, Kanpur Nagar, becomes additional SP (North), Sambhal. Gautam Rai, assistant SP, Bijnor, becomes additional SP (Rural), Bijnor. Mevis Tok, assistant SP, Banda, has been posted as additional SP, Sonbhadra. Kuldeep Singh moves from the post of SP/additional SP (North), Sambhal, to commandant, 43rd Battalion PAC, Etah.
