250k Matuas will get citizenship under CAA by Dec 31: Bengal CM
Kolkata, Nov. 2 -- West Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari on Sunday announced that 250,000 members of the Dalit Matua community who came to India from Bangladesh as refugees will be issued citizenship certificates under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) by December 31.

"When all this is over, the names of all these people will be included in the voters' list".
Adhikari urged the Matuas to be vigilant about the INDIA bloc and Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led movement alleging tampering of electoral rolls and demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.
"An effort is on to spread anarchy across India. Dimaagi Naxals, Maoists and all forces including the cockroaches and termites are into this. We will not let anyone divide India," Adhikari said.
