PRAYAGRAJ, Oct. 31 -- Two medical representatives were killed and a third was injured after their motorcycle crashed into a road divider near the Bangad Dharamshala intersection late Thursday night. The group was traveling toward Naini when the accident occurred. The deceased were identified as Anupam Sharma, 32, a native of Bhupiyamau, Pratapgarh, residing in Shivkuti, and Ankit Shukla, 30, of Navgawa Ka Pura, Nawabganj. According to police, Ankit was riding the motorcycle with his cousin, Ravi Ojha, and colleague, Anupam Sharma, as pillion riders. The vehicle reportedly went out of control near the Bangad Dharamshala crossing, colliding with the divider. Ankit and Anupam suffered fatal injuries, while Ravi sustained minor injuries and is undergoing treatment. Although the victims' families initially intended to perform last rites without a post-mortem, Kydganj police intervened to ensure legal formalities were completed.
