Rudrapur, Sept. 26 -- Two suspected drug smugglers from Haryana were on Thursday arrested in Rudrapur, police said on Friday, adding that they seized nearly 4 kg of charas from the men. Champawat superintendent of police Rekha Yadav said theaccused were identified as Ravi Singh and Sonu from Rohtak district in Haryana. "Police noticed two men in suspicion and intercepted a car near Kanwar Bend. Police recovered charas from their possession," said Yadav. The vehicle was stopped and searched and 3.955 kg of charas was recovered, police said. Officers also seized the car and recovered two mobile phones and Rs.15,000 in cash, said the SP, adding that a case was registered under the NDPS Act against both.
