16 teams for DCL Season 2
LUCKNOW, June 8 -- As many as 16 teams will be seen in action in the second season of the Doctor's Cricket League (DCL), scheduled to be played from June 11 to 14, at the Saige Cricket Ground here.
The event under the auspices of an event management organization Raven Rows, aims to give a new dimension to the growing enthusiasm for cricket within the medical community of the city. A grand captain's meet was organized on Sunday at Eldeco Trinity here.
Organising secretary, Rishu Sharma said that the opening match of the league will be played between Divine Hospital and SGPGI on June 11, promising an exciting start to the competition. He also said that the participating teams have been divided into four groups. Group A comprises SGPGI, Divine, KGMU, and SHUBH. Group B includes Max Hospital, Wellsun Warriors, Health City Vistaar, and Media XI. Group C consists of Tender Palm, HIMS, SKD, and Shekhar. Group D features Wellsun Hospital, Sun Eye Hospital, Sanior, and Medanta.
Lucknow;s Lakshya Kumar won as many as four titles in the 13th Shri Ram Murti Memorial UP State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, at Bareilly on Sunday. Laskhya won youth, junior boys, youth boys u17 and junior boys u17 titles. Ansh Sabharwal won the men's singles title, defeating Sarth Mishra 4-11, 11-6, 7-11, 11-7, 11-7, whereas women's singles title went to Aarti Chaudhary, who defeated Ambika Gupta 11-8, 11-8, 11-3....
