LUCKNOW, Oct. 7 -- A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped at gunpoint inside her house by a 17-and-a-half-year-old boy in Amethi, police said on Tuesday. The accused, a juvenile from the same village, allegedly entered the girl's house around 1.30am on October 3 and raped her at gunpoint, according to the complaint lodged by her mother on October 5. Police said the girl's mother rushed to her room after hearing her cries. The accused allegedly threatened to kill the woman if she disclosed the incident to anyone before fleeing. Ramganj SHO Ram Raj Kushwaha said an FIR had been registered on the mother's complaint and the girl had been sent for a medical examination.
