LUCKNOW, June 12 -- Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University (KMCLU), Lucknow, on Thursday released the provisional medal list of meritorious students for its 11th convocation, scheduled for July 8. Mohammad Affan, a BA (Arabic) student, will be awarded the coveted Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Medal during the ceremony. The Chancellor's Medal and Vice-Chancellor's Medal will be conferred on Soumya Mishra of BTech (Biotechnology) and Akashi Yadav of BSc (Biotechnology), respectively. Besides, 51 students will receive gold medals, while 37 and 34 students will be awarded silver and bronze medals, respectively, across various faculties at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, university officials said. Meanwhile, Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya officials said a record number of PhD degrees would be conferred during the convocation ceremony to be organised on July 15.
