Haridwar, Aug. 8 -- A 23-year-old Kanwariya was killed and two others were injured after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a Uttarakhand Transport Corporation bus at Shyampur flyover on the Haridwar-Najibabad national highway on Friday, police said. According to Nitesh Sharma, station house officer, Shyampur, the three Kanwariyas were travelling on motorcycle when it collided with the UTC bus at the flyover. "The Kanwariya, Manish Kumar, a resident of Gandhi Colony in Faridabad, Haryana, succumbed to his injuries. His fellow Kanwariyas, Kamal and Mayank, were injured and are undergoing treatment at the district hospital," Sharma said. The incident comes amid the ongoing Kanwar Yatra in the state....
