Agra, April 13 -- Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Sunday said that the Samajwadi Party (SP) has "no chances of regaining power in Uttar Pradesh till 2047". He extended this critique to the national level, stating there is "no possibility" of the Congress regaining hold at the Centre until 2047 as well.

He suggested this action would "become an inspiration to common men" to get their children admitted to government schools and "bring a change in perception amongst masses for govt school". Regarding teachers' issues, the Deputy CM stated that the state government has "resolved 80 % of the issues" and the "remaining 20 % will be resolved in near future". He called the decision to provide cashless health facilities to more than 16 lakh teachers a "historic decision". Maurya also mentioned that teachers could make a "big contribution in realisation of the dream for Viksit Bharat by prime minister Narendra Modi by giving quality education to students at schools run by the government".
At the insurance sector meet, Maurya highlighted the need to provide insurance cover to the economically weak and poor, claiming that the "removal of GST has enhanced growth of the insurance sector"....
