LUCKNOW, Sept. 16 -- Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak gave a patient hearing to people's grievances and directed the officials concerned to take necessary action to resolve them at the Janata Darshan he held at his residence here on Tuesday. People from various districts of the state presented their grievances before the deputy CM who met all present there personally. The issues ranged from medical treatment to requests for financial assistance as well as complaints concerning administrative actions, police, revenue, education, and other departments, said a press statement issued by the deputy CM's office. Treating every case seriously, Pathak immediately communicated with officials from the relevant departments and instructed them to provide relief as soon as possible in deserving cases. He instructed officials not to show any negligence at any level regarding the resolution of public grievances. "Serving the public and resolving their issues is the government's top priority. Concerns of every needy person should be heard with sensitivity. Timely and effective action must be ensured in eligible cases," Pathak told officials....
