'NDA allies will help BJP form govt in UP in 2027'
LUCKNOW, May 8 -- Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president and Uttar Pradesh panchayati raj minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Thursday asserted that NDA allies would help the Bharatiya Janata Party form the government in Uttar Pradesh in the 2027 assembly elections.
Addressing a press conference, Rajbhar alleged that the Samajwadi Party had misled people to secure a large number of seats in Uttar Pradesh during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He claimed that the SP's PDA formula was limited to the Yadav family and the Yadav community.
Referring to the West Bengal elections, Rajbhar said after the defeat of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) led by Mamata Banerjee, the defeat of the Samajwadi Party in the 2027 UP polls is "certain".
He claimed that Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav was rattled by the West Bengal poll verdict and that its workers had become demoralised after the TMC's defeat.
"The SP cadre knows its fate in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections will be no different. Several SP leaders and workers are looking for greener pastures and have sent feelers to the SBSP to join the NDA," Rajbhar claimed....
