'India witnessing era of good governance'
PRAYAGRAJ, May 20 -- Former Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was accorded a warm welcome by BJP workers upon his arrival in Prayagraj on Monday. Party leaders and workers gathered at the Circuit House, where Naqvi also interacted with party cadres and urged them to prepare for the upcoming Assembly elections.
Addressing mediapersons, Naqvi launched a sharp attack on the Congress and Samajwadi Party, claiming that the opposition's "vote theft horror show" was failing to gain public support. He alleged that the opposition strategy had already collapsed in Bihar, West Bengal and Assam, and asserted that voters in Uttar Pradesh and other states would also reject them in the future.
Naqvi said the BJP and its allies were currently providing good governance to 78 per cent of the country's population across 22 states. "Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is witnessing an 'Amritkaal (golden era) of good governance and Sanatan'," he said, adding that the country had received capable leadership during a period of global crises....
