LUCKNOW, Feb. 18 -- Uttar Pradesh has requested the Centre for the signing of a tripartite agreement between the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the Government of India, and the World Bank for UP Clean Air Management Project (UPCAMP). This was shared in a high-level review meeting of the World Bank supported UPCAMP conducted on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by AK Saxena, environment, forest and climate change minister. B Chandrakala, CEO, UPCAMP, gave a presentation and provided an overview of the project, its key milestones and the targets to be achieved. She also informed the minister that UPCAMP received formal approval from the World Bank in December 2025.
