Woman dies after jumping from Tanda hospital building
Dharamshala, Sept. 16 -- A 27-year-old woman died on Tuesday after allegedly jumping from the fourth floor of Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College and Hospital in Tanda, Kangra district. The incident occurred during the early hours of Tuesday while the patient was undergoing treatment after allegedly consuming a poisonous substance. RPGMC principal Dr Milap Sharma said following initial medical care, she was shifted to the medicine ward at around 5am.
"She jumped from the fourth floor and died," Sharma said. Police said the post-mortem examination was conducted on Tuesday, and inquest proceedings under Section 194 of the BNSS BNSS have been initiated. HTC...
