Shimla, Sept. 2 -- Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) and its associate companies added 1,730 MW of installed capacity and achieved their highest-ever annual generation of 13302.390 million units from all operational power stations, chairman and managing director Bhupender Gupta said at the 38th annual general meeting in Shimla on Monday. SJVN's flagship Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (1500 MW) continued to set new benchmarks in operational excellence by crossing the historic milestone of 150 billion units of cumulative generation since commissioning. The station achieved a plant availability factor of 96.84%. Rampur Hydro Power Station (412 MW) also registered its highest-ever annual generation of 2108 million units while the Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Station (60 MW) generated 310.36 million units, surpassing its design energy of 265.5 million units by approximately 17 percent....
