Dharamshala, Oct. 1 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) centre in Shimla announced on Wednesday that conditions are likely to become favourable for the withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from the state over the next two to three days. IMD has predicted dry weather to prevail across the hill state until October 4, with light showers expected on October 5 and 6 at isolated places in the plains and middle hills. During the past 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall was recorded at isolated locations across the state. Rampur Bushar received the highest rainfall at 16.8 mm, followed by Khadrala (7.1 mm), Sangla (1 mm), and Kotkhai (0.1 mm).HTC...
