Dharamshala, Aug. 1 -- The body of woman, swept away in a stream in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba, was found on Friday, said officials. The deceased Shabnam of Salooni's Sanghani gram panchayat had gone to graze sheep and goats near the banks of the Siul river on Thursday and she reportedly slipped into the stream and was swept away, they added. After receiving information, the administration and police launched a search and rescue operation with the help of local residents. Her body was later recovered from the stream on Friday. The administration provided an interim relief of Rs.25,000 to the deceased's next of kin under the disaster relief norms. The remaining compensation of Rs.3.75 lakh will be disbursed after the completion of the required departmental formalities, the official said....
