Shimla, May 18 -- The father and daughter were killed, while the son and the driver sustained injuries after their car plunged into a deep gorge in the Nankhari region, in the Shimla district, late on Saturday night. The deceased were identified as 49-year-old Kundan Lal and his 16-year-old daughter, Akriti, residents of Lauhati village. Akriti was a Class 11 student. The family was returning home when the accident occurred. Kundan Lal's 12-year-old son, Arab, and the 55-year-old car driver, Satpal, were injured in the mishap. A team from the Nankhari police station reached the spot and launched the rescue operations. The injured were rushed to a local hospital and were later referred to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital. The police have registered a case and have initiated the investigations....
