Shimla, May 24 -- Himachal Pradesh governor Kavinder Gupta emphasised the need to preserve the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of state by documenting and promoting the various local dialects spoken across the state. Dialects of Himachal reflect the identity, traditions and collective wisdom of its people and must be preserved for future generations through literary and written forms, said governor during a meeting with senior author OP Sharma, who called on the Governor at Lok Bhavan, on Saturday.
