Shimla, March 29 -- The Himachal Pradesh government on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi, to drive systematic urbanisation across the state. The agreement, signed in the presence of town and country planning minister Rajesh Dharmani, tasks SPA's centre of excellence with drafting regional action plans for Bilaspur, Hamirpur, and Una. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between rural and urban areas while de-congesting existing cities.
