Fast-track courts to hear paper leak cases, says Bindal, accuses Cong of undermining democracy
Shimla, July 24 -- Himachal Pradesh president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Rajiv Bindal, on Thursday said fast-track courts will be established to hear all paper leak cases so that trials are completed expeditiously and the guilty are awarded stringent punishment without delay
"Fast-track courts will be established to hear all paper leak cases so that trials are completed expeditiously and the guilty are awarded stringent punishment without delay. Necessary directions have already been issued to the concerned departments and authorities to implement this decision," said Bindal, addressing a press conference here.
BJP-led central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fully committed to safeguarding the future of the nation's youth, he added.
Launching an attack on the Congress, Bindal said that if it was genuinely concerned about students, it would have participated in constructive discussions in Parliament and offered meaningful suggestions.
Bindal asked, "Congress must explain why it is trying to politicise the future of students. While the Government is strengthening the examination system through greater transparency, security, and accountability, the Congress is attempting to exploit students' emotions for narrow political gains"....
