Jammu, Aug. 19 -- A chargesheet has been filed against a man who allegedly cheated several persons on the pretext of arranging work visas, the Jammu crime branch stated on Tuesday. The case against Kartik Choudhary of RS Pura stemmed from a complaint in which the complainant alleged that he was defrauded with a promise of arranging a Portugal work visa. During the preliminary probe, seven additional complainants with similar allegations came to the fore and were associated with the inquiry, said an official spokesperson. An FIR was registered after it was established that the accused had defrauded the complainants, the official said.
